dry-lightning cluster — no rain this hour
wet cluster — rain confirmed this hour
Clusters are ~11km grid cells checked once against Open-Meteo hourly precipitation. Rain data is model-derived (ERA5/forecast blend), good for "did it rain in that hour, that cell" — not a pluviometer-exact mm reading. VLF receiver density is uneven outside Europe/US, so strike density there understates true activity.
