Your camera is not a camera. It is a ridge scanner, a plethysmograph and a vision model — three instruments, all of them computed here, on the frame in front of the lens.
Everything runs inside this page. No frame ever leaves your device: there is no server to send it to — and nothing here is simulated. If an instrument has nothing real to read, it says so instead of showing you a number.
