Installation

Upload the issue-triage-byok folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
Activate the plugin from the WordPress Plugins menu.
Go to Settings > Issue Triage BYOK and enter your GitHub token and AI API key (and, if you're not using OpenAI, your provider's API base URL and model name).
Open the issue list, pick an issue and click Generate fix proposal — an AI-generated proposal appears for review.

Can the plugin comment on issues or open pull requests by itself?: Never by itself. It applies labels or posts a comment only when you click the button (full version, with a token that has Issues: Read and write). It never opens pull requests or touches code.
Do I need an OpenAI key specifically?: No. Any endpoint compatible with the OpenAI chat completions API works — just change the API base URL and model in the settings.
Does the plugin send my repository data to a server of its own?: No. Requests go directly from your site to GitHub and to the API provider you configured yourself.
