Monthly RTO cost = orders × RTO rate × cost per returned parcel. Returns prevented = RTO parcels × the share a confirmation stops (fake orders, wrong addresses, customers who changed their mind and say so before you ship). Confirmation cost = orders × cost per confirmation. The calculator does not count lost resale value or courier penalties, so the real cost of RTO is usually higher.
