What you need before you buy
This plugin uses your own Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API credentials — it
does not create that account for you. Before you install it, make sure you (or someone on your
team) has:
- A Meta Business Account with WhatsApp Business Cloud API access enabled.
- A verified WhatsApp Business phone number.
- At least one approved message template.
If you already send WhatsApp order notifications any other way, you likely have
all three already. If you're starting from zero, Meta's own setup and template approval can take
from a few hours to a few days — do that first, then come back and install.
Installation
- Upload the
wa-bulk-notify folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
- Activate the plugin from the WordPress Plugins menu.
- Go to Settings > WA Bulk Notify and enter your Phone Number ID and Access Token.
- Map order statuses to templates, or go to the bulk-send screen to send to a pasted list.
FAQ
- Do I need a Meta developer account?
- Yes. You need a WhatsApp Business Account with Cloud API access, a verified phone number, and at least one approved message template. This plugin does not create that for you — it uses the credentials you already have.
- Does the plugin send my data to a server of its own?
- No. Requests go directly from your site to the Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API using your own credentials.
- Is this a subscription?
- No. $24.99 once for the plugin. Free tier sends up to 50 messages/month; Pro (a separate license key) removes that cap. Meta's own messaging costs, if any, are billed to you directly by Meta.
